German Open 2008 in Hannover

RoboCup German Open took place at Hannover Fair from 21st till 25th of April. For the first time the competition was held in the forum of the new exhibition on "Mobile Robots & Autonomous Systems".

After some difficulties at the beginning we managed to win all preliminary games. A change in the software prior to the half final led to the fact that our robots were able to position very well behind the ball, but cancled every kick. A few minutes before the end of the second half, team FUmanoids from Berlin scored two goals. We fixed the bug for the match for the thrid place and therefore were able to finish the competitions with a win.

Additionally we exhibited the current model of our bionic robot arm as well as a model of our new autonomous fourlegged robot at the Themenstand Bionik in hall 2, stand D46.
